Columbia Charlotte Shuttle (CCS)
was formed in 2008. We are a small, veteran-owned business with the
simple goal of making travel easier between the Columbia, SC and
midlands area and the Charlotte, NC airport.
Our owner Dan, a former Major in the United States Army, was
stationed at Fort Jackson from 2003-2005. Like most Midlands
travelers, he often had to choose between using the Columbia and
Charlotte airports. Usually, Charlotte was a much better choice,
but involved 200 miles of driving and a remote parking
situation. There just wasn't an affordable alternative.
While serving in Iraq from 2006-2007, Dan decided that upon his
return, he would offer such an alternative; a professional,
inexpensive shuttle service that operated exclusively between the
Columbia area and the Charlotte airport. Columbia Charlotte Shuttle
was born.
