WHAT ARE YOUR HOURS OF OPERATION?

Office Hours

Our Reservation Specialists are able to assist you from 8:00am to 10:00pm daily.  Please leave a message if we don’t connect right away and we’ll get back to you as soon as possible. If your shuttle trip is outside our office hours, you will need to call your driver directly with any last minute changes. Please use your best judgement when calling your driver. Calling your driver at midnight to discuss your 4:00am pickup will undoubtedly wake them up. 

Shuttles From Columbia to Charlotte

We can pick you up in the Columbia area as early as 2:30am and as late as 7:00pm. 

Shuttles From Charlotte to Columbia

We can pick you up at the Charlotte Airport as early as 5:30am and as late as 11:00pm. Please note, we do not accept reservations for flights scheduled to arrive after 11:00pm, and our last shuttle of the evening MUST LEAVE the airport by midnight. For example, if the last shuttle of the evening has a passenger scheduled to arrive at 9:57pm and another at 10:39pm, that shuttle will leave the airport no later than midnight, no matter the reason (flight delay, checked baggage delay, deplaning delay, etc.). This is to protect both the driver and non-delayed passengers from being stuck at the airport all night. Passengers delayed past midnight are handled on a case by case basis (next available shuttle in the morning, fare refund, etc.).

HOW DO YOUR SHUTTLES OPERATE?

From Columbia to Charlotte

Unless you want extra time, for domestic flights, we will schedule your shuttle to pick you up between three and four hours prior to your departure time. For international flights, we will schedule your shuttle to pick you up between four and five hours prior to your departure time. 

We operate on a first-come, first-served basis so there may be times you have to leave Columbia earlier than you’d like, or requests we cannot fulfill.

 

From Charlotte to Columbia

We group arriving passengers in 60 minute windows based on SCHEDULED arrival times, then adjust shuttles when possible to reflect early flights, delayed flights, checked baggage, customs, etc. We cannot guarantee an exact departure time from the Charlotte airport. Once all the passengers that will be on your shuttle are ready, the shuttle will leave. We do our best to get you back to Columbia as quickly and safely as possible.

Additional Information

Your driver will contact you by 7:00pm the night prior to your reservation (except during busy USC travel dates). Please call our office if you have not been contacted by your driver by 8:00pm. This is very important. If a booking error was made by either you or us, we have absolutely no way of knowing that.

If your flight plans change, it is imperative that you call our office. Your reservation was based on your original flight.

There is always a “last shuttle” of the evening. If you miss the last shuttle, you will be automatically rescheduled for the first shuttle with available seating the next morning. Please note that this will be several hours later. If you choose not to wait, a full refund can be given in most circumstances.


HOW DOES YOUR 10-PACK WORK?

You can receive a 20% discount when you purchase 10 one-way rides at once. We will create an account for you and deduct a credit each time you use our service. You can purchase a 10-pack online or over the phone. After you have purchased the 10-pack, you can book your trips online by choosing "book with a 10-pack credit". Credits are good for five years.   

SHOULD I TIP MY SHUTTLE DRIVER?

Tipping is not required but is customary. Most passengers choose to tip their driver. We can even put the tip on your credit card if you prefer.    

AM I ABLE TO BRING MY PETS?

We are unable to transport pets and apologize for any inconvenience. We do however allow the transportation of service animals. 

HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD I MAKE MY RESERVATION?

Some passengers make reservations months in advance. Since we are first-come, first-served, it is important that you make a reservation as far in advance as possible. We can only guarantee you a seat on the shuttle once you have purchased your seat. 


WHAT IS THE REFUND POLICY?

We understand that travel plans change. Cancellations made more than 24 hours in advance are no problem, and a full refund will be given. Please note that emails and voicemails are not considered cancellations. If your flight is canceled or re-routed to another airport, you will also receive a full refund. All other travel circumstances, including flight delays, are handled on a case-by-case basis. Please understand that just as certain travel delays are not your fault, they are not our fault either. All reasonable efforts will be made to facilitate your travel plans as quickly and safely as possible.  

WHAT PAYMENT DO YOU ACCEPT?

Columbia Charlotte Shuttle requires payment in full at the time of booking. We want to make this process as simple as possible, so we offer online and over-the-phone payment options. We accept all major credit cards. 

ARE THERE BAGGAGE RESTRICTIONS?

No, however, we need to know at the time of the reservation how much luggage you will have, as well as any oversized items, such as golf clubs.  

WHERE WILL I BE PICKED UP AND DROPPED OFF IN COLUMBIA?

We service the Columbia metropolitan area and typically pick up and drop off right at your door. However, if you are outside our service area we have convenient pick up points where we can meet you. Please call or email to discuss.
